Just want to bring your attention to the speakers reading in York during 2010. I am amongst them, I will be reading in November and more of that will be posted here later. This is a great chance for people in York to hear contemporary poets. Personally, I DO recommend that you go and see Milner Place and Rosie Blagg. Two poets that I admire and who are worth the trip out and who are definately worth a one pound coin to hear. Be nice to them on the night, buy them a drink, buy their books and support contmeporary poets. Dead poets don’t need your money, modern poets do! Do come and say hello to me on the 10th November.
