The Charcoal Burners & Robin Hood

There is in an interview with me in the Morning Star this week and is reproduced online here. It concerns my childhood, political views and beliefs in how the UK economy and politics is failing all of us. They have also reprinted the poem, The Charcoal Burners, from The Robin Hood Book (131 Poets in Support of the Robin Hood Tax). The main purpose of The Robin Hood Book is an anthologising of the most polemical, satirical and politically charged poetry of our times from a plethora of contemporary poets of all stripes, established and emerging, united together in this ‘figurative fightback’ against the scabrous “austerity capitalism” presently afflicting us all. You can buy the book at The Recusant.
