Can You Predict A Rejection?

The simple answer would be, ‘No’. That would be a very short post. Yet, the industry thrives on workshops and posts that tell you how to minimise rejection. Funnily enough you never see this when it comes to dating, who would attend such painful, public workshops? Steve from Bolton states that after dating Tracey from Rotherham that he was appalled when she dumped him in a Little Chef. He thought at least he was Subway material. Yet, creative writing thrives on top ten tips, advice from publishers and agents – all of it common sense stuff. Do your research. Know your market. If you don’t then you can predict a rejection. The answer is with you. Do your homework or be like Steve, aiming to be dumped in Subway but ending up on the side of the A1.
