Best of Manchester Poets 2

Last year I was fortunate to be published in Best of Manchester Poets 1. The poem included in that anthology was Why Guns Will Never Be Legal in England and it went on to some success thanks to Puppywolf (they publish BOMP each year). The poem took on a life of its own and went on to be broadcast on BBC Radio Four’s Poetry Please National Poetry Day 2010 edition. I was the only living poet on that broadcast and my little poem nestled between Eliot and Auden. If one has to keep company with dead poets then it is not a bad start. Anyway, this year I submitted again, the submission process is anonymous and I’ve had another poem selected. Who knows what will happen with this one?
