A Tale Called Deathband

I have a new non-fiction story out at the moment which deals with grief, food shopping, Covid and music stars that didn’t live up to our expectations.

You can read it at the wonderful The Real Story here. For those of you new to The Real Story, they are: ‘The Real Story is a writer development project and journal devoted to promoting the form of nonfiction writing in the UK.  It’s funded by Arts Council England and is administered by Openstories, a Manchester-based writing development organisation.’ So, take time out to check out some wonderful writing on there. I particularly enjoyed Crying is Pronounced Caoineadh in Gaelic by Kathleen McKitty Harris and A Little Crow by Louis Gilbert from their recent offerings.
